Books on CD vs Print

I’m experimenting with with PDF file books on CD now.  I have one I’ve just released that contains my first three collection books and my Halloween Humor book from 2009 into one huge volume.  It has bonus gag comics and an article about the evolution of BubbaWorld Comix.   It even comes with an original piece of artwork for the CD case cover.  You can get four of my books for the price of nearly one of them.

I like holding a book in my hand , but lets face it… I read a lot on the computer already.  If I found a deal like this from some of the cartoonists I follow I would probably snap it up in a heartbeat.

I’m considering even creating a book that will solely come out on CD.  Half will be a ZACK THE ZOMBIE HUNTER story and the other half will be a new steam punk idea I’m working on.  It will be over a hundred page book that will cost five or six dollars as opposed to the fifteen or twenty dollars I would have to charge for a printed version.

The graphic novel series I’m planning to come out with about Time Travel was originally going to be five or six books released over as many years.  Now I’m wondering if I should just do one huge saga and sell it way cheaper than I could ever have it printed.  And the whole story could come out at once instead of spreading it over time so everyone’s wallets will have time to recover.

I can still have the books printed, just keep a couple of copies or order them special for the people that absolutely refuse or can’t use a CD book.

Let me know yall’s opinions on this.
